My 4 Favourite Books!

5 favourite books would’ve been a nicer number but I only have 4 favourites! Whatcha gonna do?

1. In the Skin of a Lion Michael Ondaatje

A beautiful prose written by a canadian author, he’s known for the English Patient which is still on my TBR list. Based in Toronto too, there is just something to love in books written about where you’re from.

2. To Kill A Mockingbird Harper Lee

A simple and classic book. Who didn’t have to read this one in high school? Mainly on my favourites list because of Atticus- favourite all time character.

3. Murder on the Orient Express Agatha Christie

The first book I read by Agatha Christie which sparked a love of Hercule Poirot and her whodunnit mysteries. Currently on a mission to read all of her books. I love how it’s set in the winter in Europe and the mystery itself was great. Get this- I read this book on a train (good one eh?).

4. Life of Pi Yann Martel

Another book I read for school- so much in the plot as well as so much symbolism and deeper meaning. You can’t help but fall in love with Pi. There are so many ways to interpret the book and all of the characters.

What are some of your favourites?

Until next time!
