Top 5 Wednesday: Books That Would Make Good Video Games

Top 5 Wednesday is a group on Goodreads that was created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey and is now run by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. This week is all about books that should be make into video games! I love video games, I’m not super great or anything but I do enjoy them. Some of my favourites are Animal Crossing and Super Mario Bros.

1. And Then There Were None Agatha Christie

Okay so this is one of my favourite books- I feel like I talk about it all the time: on here, to my friends, to my coworkers but hear me out!

How it would work is- you could play through as all of the different characters trying to avoid your fate, get off the island, save as many people as you can and figure out who the murderer is, it could also work where you walk through with new characters so you don’t know who’s going to be killed off next, finally (the most morbid) is you could play as the killer- trying to successfully plan your traps and murders.

Top 5 Wednesday: Science Fiction & Fantasy Books I Want To Read

Top 5 Wednesday is a group on Goodreads that was created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey and is now run by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. This week is 5 Science Fiction and Fantasy Books I’ve Read however,I haven’t read too many books in this category so I thought I’d change it up a bit. Instead of doing the books I’ve read I’ll be doing the books I want to read!

  1. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Douglas Adamsa1hgwca36hl
This book is referenced so often and I feel as if it’s one of those books everyone has to read eventually, just to say they read it. I think there was even a movie for this?

Top 5 Wednesday: 2017 Goals

  1. Read 30 books
I’m not putting any pressure on myself to reach this goal but I would be super happy if I did. However I think it’s important to still read what you like, even though it probably wouldn’t help me with my goal, if I want to read Moby Dick I will read Moby Dick. (What am I doing still blogging? If I’m going to read 30 books I’d better get started!!)

Top 5 Wednesday: Books I’d Like to Re-Read

I’m a huge re-reader, once I find something I love I read it over and over again. Same with TV Shows, I’m pretty sure I’ve watched the first season of Community at least 9 times. So this topic is right up my alley. Here are 5 books I’d like to re-read.

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series – Rick Riordan

I remember reading these books as they came out when I was much younger. I loved Percy and his adventures, Greek Mythology totally
captivated me and I read these books so quickly. I haven’t read them in so long that I’d love to revisit them and I think I’ll plan for it sometime soon!

Top 5 Wednesday: Favourite Publishers

I love this idea, really I never thought to look at the publishers of my favourite books but it makes so much sense! I had a lot of fun with this one trying to figure out where all my books came from. Without further ado – here are my favourite publishers.

1. HarperCollins   w7ymx19k

This publisher has released books like Replica and Three Dark Crowns. I really love the new design covers for Agatha Christie books, I think the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous but still very simple.
